Precious Hannah-King is the founder of Mister OK's Essentials, a Portland-based brand specializing in handcrafted, all-natural candles, bath and body products, and room sprays. With a focus on quality and simplicity, the company aims to create clean, memorable scents that enhance any environment. Beyond offering products, Mister OK's Essentials provides hands-on custom candle-making sessions at their NE Alberta Street location, fostering community engagement and creativity.
Before establishing Mister OK's Essentials, Precious had a distinguished career as a designer at Nike, where she was among the first Black women to design athletic shoes. Her passion for creating uplifting scents led her to start an all-natural candle business, emphasizing the impact of ambient aromas on mood and well-being.
Under her leadership, Mister OK's Essentials has become a staple in Portland's wellness and artisanal scenes, offering products that are both environmentally friendly and enriching to daily life.
