In celebration of Black History Month 2025, Pitch Black, Built Oregon, PIE, and Vanport Studio are coming together to highlight the paths of our Pitch Black alumni. Some are still deep in the startup game, others have pivoted to new ventures, and some have taken unexpected but inspiring directions. No matter where they are now, their journeys are worth celebrating.

Hosted by Stephen Green, founder of Pitch Black and Vanport Studio, this special fireside chat event brings together a dynamic group of Black founders to share their experiences, challenges, and successes since stepping off the Pitch Black stage. The evening, graciously hosted by Instrument—longtime supporter, sponsor, and now home to Vanport Studio—features engaging conversations with past founders, offering insight into the real-life twists and turns of entrepreneurship.
