About Yosafe
Yosafe Murphy is a co-founder of SHEBA Farm, a family-owned and operated agrivoltaic project in Oregon. Alongside his wife, Itanna Murphy, Yosafe established SHEBA Farm to integrate sustainable agriculture with renewable energy, aiming to empower communities through self-sufficiency and environmental stewardship.
SHEBA Farm offers training in various disciplines, including agri-tech, renewable energy, organic farming practices, and food sciences. The farm's Community Solar program is designed to provide 50% of its energy production to lower-income communities, promoting environmental justice and equitable resource distribution.
Under Yosafe's leadership, SHEBA Farm has become a model for integrating farming and renewable energy, demonstrating how land diversification can lead to higher revenue and build generational wealth. The Murphys' vision reflects the ideals embodied by the Queen of Sheba—wisdom, resources, strength, and independence—principles they strive to uphold in their daily operations.
In addition to his work at SHEBA Farm, Yosafe has been involved in initiatives such as VertueLab's 45Camp, which supports entrepreneurs in the clean technology sector.
